Any documents should be completed, but not signed, before the appointment.

Two or more clients meeting with Moira at the same time in the same location are group appointments. This can involve multiple people signing the same document, or multiple people who each have their own documents to sign. Moira will need to know in advance how many people are participating and the nature of the documents. Each individual will need to read and sign a copy of the waiver, and each will need to have a piece of current government-issued ID.

Health and Safety

Moira is fully vaccinated, tests for COVID-19 regularly, and will wear a mask upon request.

Collection and Retention of Information

Law requires that Moira keep a copy of a client’s ID, their contact information, the Acknowledgement of Services, the document being notarized, and the receipt for a minimum of 3 years. This information is stored digitally on a password-protected computer, encrypted. It will not be shared with third parties unless consent is given by the client, legal investigations require it, or required for the purposes of litigation. Contact information will not be used for the purposes of soliciting further purchases of services from Mobile Notary Services.
