About Moira

Moira Jean Moore is a lawyer and notary and commissioner of oaths. She is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Frontenac Law Association, and the Kingston Chamber of Commerce.

Moira teaches an online course through Queen’s University in which she introduces medical students and practitioners to the impact laws and ageism have on the rights and welfare of older people.

Moira’s experiences made it clear that there are many people who have difficulty accessing services due to mobility issues, lack of transportation, or inability to access services within what is considered regular working hours. In addition, there are circumstances in which an individual might fear they will not be safe and treated with respect. Moira created Mobile Notary Services not only to provide convenience, but also stress-free service.
